Your Child's Drawing Knit

from £90.00

*We advise an approximate 6-8 week making time so please take this into account when choosing your size*

Our newest design celebrates your little one’s creativity, turning their drawings into a wearable piece of art, something to be worn now and one day treasured as an heirloom once it’s outgrown. Each jumper captures a moment in time, preserving their imagination exactly as it was.

This piece lends itself best to line drawings with smaller areas of colour filling, simple block colouring. If a drawing contains large areas of dense colouring, we may simplify certain sections by embroidering an outline instead, to ensure the finished piece is neat and balanced. If you’re unsure whether a drawing is suitable, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

All embroidery is done entirely by hand, never by machine. If a design is particularly complex or time intensive, we will contact you before proceeding to discuss any additional fees.

To order, simply select your knit style, size, and colour. Jumpers are available in cotton, merino, or easy wash acrylic.

Once your order is placed, please email a clear, straight on photograph of your child’s drawing to hello@pollywrenstudios.com. We will match colours as closely as possible using our existing yarns, though as we work within our established palette, some shades may appear slightly lighter or more muted.

If you’re submitting a pencil drawing, you can let us know your preferred colours by referring to our colour chart.

Choose from-

Standard snuggly yarn- An acrylic yarn that is easy wash and mimics a soft merino feel.
Extra Fine Merino- a Super soft and insulating fibre that has extra weight to it.
Pure Cotton- A more breathable fibre with a lovely smooth finish.

The handmade charm of these pieces mean they should be treated with extra care when washing. To prolong the life of your knit we advise gently hand washing, rolling in a towel to squeeze out most of the water and Laying flat or hanging to dry. These pieces can be washed on a gentle short wool cycle on their own, so as not to allow snagging of the embroidery.

Please note that as these items are personalised and demand a lot of time and care to make, they are not eligible for a refund unless faulty.

Sizing

Our sizes are fairly true to size however as all children vary in different shapes and sizes we would always advise sizing up if you are in doubt. Sleeves can be rolled back and it ensures your little one has as much wear from their precious piece as possible.
